Let’s introduce myself. I live with my wife and our 2 daughters in a nice house. We like to give our house a new and refreshing look. So, we decided to have one of these house number plates. Nowadays you can get all kinds of house number plates. We liked our house number sign to be different from others, different and more fitting to our home. Let’s face it, there a many thousands of possibilities to  go out and find nice looking house number signs. But to be honest, we asked our self, does it fit to our home, to our house, to us?

We, my wife tells me that it was me, surfed a lot on the internet. Looking for examples, watching what is defined as a good looking house number sign. If you haven’t look for house number plates before on the world wide web, just like me, the information was huge. All the signs, to decorate your home, looked the same. There was an enormous offer . The house number plates were available in all kinds of materials. Where to start? What to do? We also looked around in our street, looking at houses, looking at all the different house number signs while we were taking a walk. I have to confess that we take a walk just to look at other peoples home. Staring at the house number sign they have. Sometimes we even talk to people about their house number sign. Where did they bought or ordered the house number plates. Why this one? Why not another one, a different size or a different color? They told us that they like theirs and they did have the feeling that this particular house number sign fits best with them and their house. In spite of looking almost the same as the house number plates at the neighbours.

Most of the house number plates that we have seen until now, were almost looking the same. It was very obvious that these signs were produced by manufacturers  or ordered on the web. None of them, please do understand what I mean, could fit us, fit our home, our house. All those house number signs were very beautiful, looking nice and fit to the house they were made for. We decided that our house should have a special house number sign. We decided to make our own house number plate.
